We Go Back is a moment captured, not constructed.

The song began when Keslyn Kime was eight years old. While her father brothers KIME—Ran and Wes—were recording in their Winter Hill Studios, Keslyn quietly joined them. She curled up on the couch with a notebook, listening to a beat playing through the monitors, and began writing. No prompting. No direction. Just instinct.

After a while, she looked up and calmly announced that she had lyrics—and a title—for the music they were recording. She began singing her words out loud, placing them naturally over the track as if she had always known where they belonged. Her father and uncle were stunned. What she had written wasn’t playful or accidental—it was coherent, emotionally grounded, and honest.

They asked her to record the song.

Keslyn agreed on one condition: her dad had to do it with her.

We Go Back is the result of that moment. The Lyrics written entirely by Keslyn Kime at age eight and performed together with her father, the track stands as a rare intergenerational collaboration—unpolished in the best way, sincere without trying to be profound. It’s not a novelty. It’s a document.

The song appears on the compilation album Eon Essentials – Volume 1, preserving a snapshot of shared creativity, trust, and voice—where influence isn’t taught, only witnessed.
